  Marcus Abel is een hedendaagse kunstenaar. Marcus Abel is een mannelijke kunstenaar, geboren in New York, NY (VS) in 1959.

  De eerste geverifieerde tentoonstelling van Marcus Abel was Personal Structures bij Galerie Roger Katwijk in Amsterdam in 2004, en de meest recente tentoonstelling was Timeless Structures bij Galerie Majke Hüsstege in 's-Hertogenbosch in 2010.

  Marcus Abel wordt het meest tentoongesteld in Duitsland, maar had ook tentoonstellingen in Nederland, de Verenigde Staten en elders. Abel heeft in ieder geval geen soloshows maar wel 6 groepsshows de afgelopen 6 jaar.

  Een opmerkelijke tentoonstelling was Personal Structures in het Ludwig Museum im Deutschherrenhaus in Koblenz in 2005. Andere opmerkelijke shows waren in Roger Katwijk in Amsterdam en Galerie Elsa Lorente in Wenen. Marcus Abel was te zien met Rene Rietmeyer en Jae Ko.
