Celine Ranger

Céline Ranger is a French contemporary artist, born in Touraine in 1972. She studied fine art at l’ École Boulle and l’ École Étienne in Paris. Thereafter, she went to the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She began her career as a graphic designer but became a full-time artist in 2006. Ranger has had various exhibitions in France, Brussels and London. Her colourful paintings of idealised and mysterious women remind of the symbolist work of the fin de siècle artist Gustav Klimt.
