About the artist

Ernesto C. Pujazón Patron (1969, Lima), full name Ernesto Carlos Pujazón Patrón, active in Malaysia and at Lima (Peru), is a Master of International Contemporary Art and Design Practice. He is a deputy dean of The Design School at Taylor’s University, and Curator of CoDA Gallery (Centre of Design and Architecture) at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. He is interested in drawing, painting and scholarly activities. He wrote a postgraduate paper Human representation, a new perception of Islamic art (2010, International Islamic University Malaysia). He has had many exhibitions in Poland, Malaysia, China and Peru, for example: Konfrontacje Group Exhibition, Nowa Oficyna Gallery, Gdansk, Poland (2007); Solo exhibition, Ernesto Pujazón Drawing and Collages 2000, Art Gallery, Alliance Française, Penang, Malaysia, (2000); Starting, a painting exhibition of young artists from four countries across two continents, Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai, China (1996); Annual exhibition, Autonomous National School of Fine Arts of Peru, National Museum, Lima, Peru (1995).
