About the artist
Rik van Rijswick, (Tegelen, March 4, 1972 and living in Beesel) is a Dutch visual artist.
After completing pre-university education, the Eindhoven Graphic School and Fontys Hogeschoool Product Design, he started working as a freelance artist. He works from experiment and his own worldview.
Public works: the Dragon (2009), placed on a roundabout in Beesel, the Peaceful Warrior (2012) placed in the Municipality of Oude IJsselstreek for the Dru Industrial Park in Ulft, the Peaceful Warrior, placed in the Municipality of Venlo, Maasboulevard at the head of the Weerd in Venlo.
