- About the artist
Bregje Horsten (1981) graduated from the art academy St. Joost in Breda in 2004 and in 2007 she graduated from the art academy in Tilburg. She makes figurative paintings, bordering on the abstract.
Bregje always looks for the balance of imperfection. Her work is often inspired by music. She has had various exhibitions in the Netherlands and abroad, among others Amsterdam, Vienna, Los Angeles, New York and Los Angeles.
Her work is in various private and public collections, including Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art and Andrews Art Museum N.C.
