Breepark: the new host of Art Breda
Art Breda is opening its doors between 19 and 22 April at Breepark Breda, the Netherlands. For at least the upcoming three years this art fair will be held in this new location in the outskirts of Breda.
Will the new location offer the public the same quality like last year? According to Erik Hermida, director of Art Breda, the organization has found a good permanent location for this art fair where all facilities are present. The location offers a good and convenient exposition space and also the accessibility is top notch, including free parking. All together will attribute to a successful art fair. And of course not forgetting the high- end and respectful art dealers and galleries that are present at this fair.
Talking numbers
The art fair focuses on Dutch and Belgian collectors and lovers of old and contemporary art and antiques. The number of satisfied visitors indicating that they have bought something has increased from 8 to 13%. Of the buyers, 64% has spent between €1,000 and €5,000. Previous editions of Art Breda attracted approximately 17,500 visitors. The expectation is that this number will increase in the coming years.

Specialist in the field
Specialist art and antique dealers, mostly from The Netherlands and Belgium, show the finest pieces from their collections. In order to collect interesting objects for his collection, Rob van Leeuwen of Passage Arts is constantly travelling. He saves his most special works of art, especially for Art Breda. "This fair is worth it", according to Van Leeuwen.
All participants are selected by committees, who guarantee professionalism and quality. Prior to the opening of the fair, all objects will be examined by specialized vetting committees. They ensure the authenticity and quality of the artworks and other objects offered during the fair.
