Adrianus Jacques Sauzay

Adrianus Jacques Sauzay, also known under the name Adrien Sauzay, was a French painter born in Paris. He was known as a student of Andre Pasini and exhibited his first work at the Paris Salon in the year 1869 at a young age. A post-impressionist technique can be discovered in his style of painting, as well as a certain colouring resemblance to Corot. A number of museums exhibiting paintings of his hand are Louviers, Le Havre, Gueret, Glasgow, Carpentras, Brest and Arras.

Jacques Sauzay passed away in 1928.
