"Principles that influence beauty: complexity.
The habit by which we end up in the swirling game of chase, when we gradually discover the beauty of an object.
The complexity comes from this endeavor.
Every difficulty in understanding an object increases the pleasure of overcoming it.
I depict this movement in my paintings. "
