About the artist
Hilde worked as an architect for quite some time and took many lessons at academies for the visual arts. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Painting from PXL-MAD.
Although she mainly paints (flirting with the boundary between abstraction and figuration), she also makes murals and collages in parallel.
She recently won 1st prize in the painting competition 'Georges Dheedene' and was selected in the Collage prize 'Fondation Arty'.
There is often a hint of sensuality in her intimate works. The more abstract works are very expressive and the accurate brushstrokes stand out. One work regularly leads to the next.
