About the artist
When I was young I was interested in comics and cartoon movies such as: The Flintstones, Superman, Batman, Popeye and so many others. I used to copy them and later I began to draw my own new characters.
In the classroom at highschool I would draw strips and cartoons about my teachers and of weird people I saw in the city. Characters like Mc Pope and Macaroni I designed when I was at Art School. After Art School I began the comics with Al Cappuccino who was a man I learned to know in Maastricht when I lived there. He owned a big house filled with books, statues and paintings it was a copletely mess but for me it was pure fantasy.
Today I live in Amsterdam and I still draw crazy, weird, normal, or famous people I see and meet in the city. I make cartoons, paintings and portraits of them. I also like to paint emojis and modern formes witch you can find in our society.
