About the artist
Ferro, born in 1932, learned from his uncles Armando and Amleto Zuffi in the glassworks of Fratelli Toso, where he subsequently worked as the master from 1952-1981. In 2012 Vittorio passed away.
His mastery is due to some of the best objects of Italian glass art such as the Kiku vases. The related Murrinen no one can produce today. The used Murrine are partly still from Vittorio Ferros time at Fratelli Toso or were made by him in collaboration with the deceased Massimiliano Pagnin.
