Odile Kinart was born in 1945 in the Netherlands, close to the Belgian border. She was educated at the Art Academy of Genk. Due to a passion for literature, she spend some time as a college teacher. The only way to deepen her passion for poetry, was through another art: sculpture. Odile gets her inspiration from Pre-Columbian and African cultures. She became more renowned in the 90s, through her ceramic creations. From 1995, Odile is known to incorporate bronze as her working material. Odile is still actively producing sculptures and has exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.
