- A proposito di opere artistaMaurice Goth (1873, Avdo Felsofalu, Ungheria – 1944, Amsterdam), scritto anche Moricz Góth, ha vissuto e lavorato a Monaco, Parigi, Bretagna, Bruges, Budapest, Domburg, Veere e Amsterdam. Ha frequentato l'Accademia del disegno di Monaco, l'Académie Julian di Parigi e l'Accademia di Vienna. Era il padre della pittrice Sarika Goth. Disegna e dipinge - anche ad acquarello - spiagge, porti (Zelanda), fiori, ritratti, figure, animali (cavalli) e paesaggi in stile impressionista. Oltre che pittore e disegnatore, fu anche scultore. È stato insignito del Prix de Rome d'Ungheria e ha ricevuto diverse altre onorificenze. Goth era un membro di Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam. Le sue opere sono incluse nelle collezioni dell'Haags Gemeentemuseum, L'Aia; il Centraal Museum, Utrecht, e il Drents Museum, Assen.
