    It seems like today that we were mending cloths to endure the life time of a piece of cloths. Repairing socks or just a simple seem was a skill many of us had. Nowadays we do Yoga or an other mindfullness workshop to feel the tranquilty that depicts this colourful painting. Ada was the wife of Maurice and mother of Sakia Góth.

    Maurice Goth (1873, Avdo Felsofalu, Ungheria – 1944, Amsterdam), scritto anche Moricz Góth, ha vissuto e lavorato a Monaco, Parigi, Bretagna, Bruges, Budapest, Domburg, Veere e Amsterdam. Ha frequentato l'Accademia del disegno di Monaco, l'Académie Julian di Parigi e l'Accademia di Vienna. Era il padre della pittrice Sarika Goth. Disegna e dipinge - anche ad acquarello - spiagge, porti (Zelanda), fiori, ritratti, figure, animali (cavalli) e paesaggi in stile impressionista. Oltre che pittore e disegnatore, fu anche scultore. È stato insignito del Prix de Rome d'Ungheria e ha ricevuto diverse altre onorificenze. Goth era un membro di Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam. Le sue opere sono incluse nelle collezioni dell'Haags Gemeentemuseum, L'Aia; il Centraal Museum, Utrecht, e il Drents Museum, Assen.
