- A proposito di opere artistaErasmus Bernhard von Dülmen Krumpelman(n), è stato un pittore tedesco nato a Bad Kreuznach il 25 agosto 1897. Morì a Zeegse il 21 giugno 1987. Poco dopo la sua nascita, la famiglia si trasferì ad Amsterdam. Dopo aver studiato disegno alla Hendrik de Keyserschool, ha frequentato la Rijksnormaalschool, specializzandosi in educazione artistica. Nel 1918 divenne membro dell'Accademia d'arte di Amsterdam Arti et Amicitiae e tenne varie mostre. In questo periodo conobbe gli artisti August Allebé, George Breitner e Willem Witsen che lo aiutarono a sviluppare il proprio stile. Dipinse in uno stile impressionista. Dopo il suo matrimonio nel 1921, si stabilì a Drenthe. Lì incontrò la società d'arte De Ploeg e il suo stile divenne più colorato. Fu pittore e disegnatore di paesaggi, paesaggi urbani, circhi e ritratti.
