It seems like today that we were mending cloths to endure the life time of a piece of cloths. Repairing socks or just a simple seem was a skill many of us had. Nowadays we do Yoga or an other mindfullness workshop to feel the tranquilty that depicts this colourful painting. Ada was the wife of Maurice and mother of Sakia Góth.

Sobre artista
Maurice Goth (1873, Avdo Felsofalu, Hungria - 1944, Amsterdã), também soletrado Moricz Góth, viveu e trabalhou em Munique, Paris, Bretanha, Bruges, Budapeste, Domburg, Veere e Amsterdã. Frequentou a Academia de Desenho de Munique, a Académie Julian em Paris e a Academia de Viena. Ele era o pai da pintora Sarika Goth. Ele desenhou e pintou - também em aquarelas - praias, portos (Zeeland), flores, retratos, figuras, animais (cavalos) e paisagens em estilo impressionista. Além de pintor e desenhista, também foi escultor. Ele foi premiado com o Prêmio de Roma da Hungria e recebeu várias outras homenagens. Goth era um membro da Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam. Suas obras estão incluídas nas coleções do Haags Gemeentemuseum, em Haia; o Museu Centraal, Utrecht, e o Museu Drents, Assen.
