Tanneke Peetoom is an autodidact Dutch portrait photographer who specializes in child portraits and portraits of woman in traditional clothing or folklore photography. She started developing an interest in fine art photography in 2010 and has been a prolific photographer ever since. Peetoom uses natural light and manages to capture beautiful portraits with a romantic feel to it. She mainly depicts children and focuses on their eyes in order to emphasize their purity and vulnerability. Peetoom has been publicated in multiple magazines, has made photographs for bookcovers and won the second prize at the prestigious Px3 Prix de la Photography Paris in 2015.
