- Over kunstwerkMargit de Corini, Hongarian/American 1897-1982, wanted to become an actress, but after getting married with baron Corini, she moved to New York. Fom 1928 she worked in Paris for 15 years. In 1931 she began to exhibit in the French capital with the greatest artists of the time. The french press called her the "painter of the night". She frequently exhibited in Budapest as well. After 1945 she returned home, in 1952 she left the capital, and moved to Gyomán. She gave a part of her works to the local museum, where it can be seen as part of their constant exhibition.
