About the artwork
An English-Dutch coin goblet.
Colourless glass with a copper coin.
The bell bowl on a hollow spherical knop contains a Dutch coin (a "duit"or a "bezemstuivertje" )
with the inscription "HOLLANDIA" and dated 1738.
The stem has a single opaque spiral cable, conical foot.
The glass just onder 1738. Height 16 cm.
