    Ukrainian Soviet artist, graphic artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Evdokia Grigorievna Usikova was born on December 25, 1913 in the village of. Yankovtsy (Kharkov region). In 1940 she graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where she studied at A. Shovkunenko. In July 1944, Usikova Ye.G. debuted at the Exhibition of Works of Artists of the Union Republics, opened in Moscow, at the State Museum of Oriental Cultures. Since that time – an active participant in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. E.G. Usikov worked in the field of easel painting. Author of thematic paintings, master of still lifes. Major works: “Autumn Bouquet” (1945); “The deputy” (1949); “Lesson” “To Ilyich” (1960) “; “The Blue Dream” (1963), “Kiev Bridges”, “Granddaughters” (1965) and others. She died in 1996. The artist’s works are presented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
