Diana Grigorievna Varakuta was born in 1949. She studied at the Kiev Art Institute until 1965. Participated in regional, republican and international art exhibitions since1976 and had several personal exhibitions in Chernigov in 1999 and in 2000. Varakuta is still active in Chernigov (Ukraine).

Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990).
