Lim Kwi Bing was born in Indonesia, 1904. He remained living and working in Indonesia throughout his entire life. Bing was known as a painter. His working style incorporates bright colours, rough brushstrokes, and sometimes the obvious contouring of figures in contrasting colours. His work is of figurative kind with portraits being his subject of special preference. Bing passed away in 1965.
